Summary/Abstract: It is presented the latest find (2012) from Putineiu, in south-western Giurgiu County. On this occasion it is also discussed the stage of the investigation regarding the research on the Basarabi cultural complex from the range of the Central Muntenia. It was insisted upon the most recent investigations, carried out especially on the Lower Argeş River.
