Long-term rent with fleet management as an alternative for lease of cars. Case study

Summary/Abstract: The article compares the long-term rent with lease as sources of car financing in an enterprise. The differences between rent and lease contracts with consideration of the tax aspects are presented in the article. It has been proven that long-term rent with car fleet management is a cheaper way of financing than traditional lease. Finally, the reasons of small interest in long-term rent of cars with fleet management and barriers of use of this form of financing in Poland are discussed.
