Competitiveness of Poland’s high-tech exports

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to determine the position of Poland in the global and European exports of high-trade products. In the first part of the study, taking into account the availability of data providing the possibility of comparisons between countries, the author develops the concept of export competitiveness and highlights its most important measures. Empirical analysis, which results are presented in the next sections, base on information from Eurostat COMEXT database on a five-digit level of disaggregation according to SITC Rev. 3 and 4.
