Summary/Abstract: The problems that appear are related to the way writers perceive the legal foundations of society and how the literature deals with issues of law, power and justice and the writer’s responsibility towards his readers. Analyzing the Discourse on the Origin and Basis of Inequality Among Men by Jean-Jacques Rousseau and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1789 we intend to show that literary works can enrich law and justice with.
