Summary/Abstract: In this work we unveil the history of the Czech national minority in the area of today’s Ukraine. In this context the work offers a brief summary of the history of Czechs settling in what was at the time Russian land. Attention is given also to the role of Czech immigrants during the World Wars I and II. The workout lines also the circumstances and history of post-war relocation of this national minority back to the Czech Republic in two re-emigration waves.
