Summary/Abstract: In a recent television interview, Geri Halliwell yet again entered the discursive fray that surrounds the relationship between young women and the feminist project to confirm her ambivalent attitude to the specter of “feminism.”3 Halliwell’s comments in April of 2008 were not an isolated outburst; in recent years she has periodically affirmed her commitment to “justice [and] gender equality” whilst asserting that feminism has an “image problem” and needs to be “rebranded.”
