Summary/Abstract: In this text the new life of the film is connected with the problems of distribution of films in the modern digital world and the fact that it is almost not possible to get a profit from the resources invested in its production. The cinemas where tickets are being sold have become not that an attractive place for an encounter with the art of cinema, while downloading for free films from the torrent sites threatens directly with a financial catastrophe the whole film industry. The possible ways to come out of this situation are: financial support from advertising clips included in the films in the internet and legalizing the pirate torrent site by encouraging the users to provide voluntary small sums for each downloaded film.
