Summary/Abstract: Subject of the study are the images, where there is an underlined connection of Judas Iscariot with Satan and his assistants - the fallen angels in Bulgarian Revival art. Textual source for the presentation of the daemonic influence on the deeds of the sinful apostle we find in the canonic Gospels, but the subject inspired also others. The research traces the emergence and development of the iconographic solutions of the scenes of interest, going back in time and drawing parallels not only with neighboring countries but also with more distant West European models. The expose follows the history of Judas not in a chronological manner but from the point of view of the studied images and starts from the moment of his yielding to satanic temptations in the scenes The Sacrament of the Apostles and the Last Supper, continues on through the repentance and death in the images, connected with Hanging of Judas and ends with the just retribution for the person that has betrayed Christ - the torments in the composition The Last Judgment.
