Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present changes in the approach to the professional career in current conditions with particular emphasis on issues of balance between work and life. The article has theoretical-experimental nature. It presents the results of the research concerning inter alia: the new way of thinking about professional career and also the signs of employers’ activity in shaping their professional career and their impact on the maintenance of the work-life balance.
