Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on a significance of emotional intelligence in company’s management. At the beginning the author described the term of emotional intelligence. Then he presented some examples illustrating the influence of EI on economic effects and on the efficiency of managers. The author tried to measure emotional intelligence. He also pointed the ways and some pieces of advice for EI development.
