Summary/Abstract: The instruments of psychoanalytical critic seem to be very useful in the interpretation of Józef Czechowicz’s poetry. The text is an attempt to read the poem anew through the borderlines. I make use of traditional categories worked out in the field of versology, as well as the theses drawn from the writings of Jacques Lacan and his successors (the symbolic, the imaginary and the real, theory of objects and partial drives).
