Summary/Abstract: In the paper the area structure of holdings taking into account the ESU was introduced and Lorenz concentration rate of arable lands was counted. The CEEC are characterized by diverse farms’ structure. Similarly to Lithuania, Latvia, Romania and Slo-venia, Poland has a distracted structure of holdings. Other CEE countries are characterized by better farms’ structure and they have also larger concentration of arable lands.
