Summary/Abstract: Against Russian invasion a resistance movement which had been organised by Naqshibandî-Khalidî murids started in Daghestan and Chachnia. This movement, which had been quickly spread, was named as muridism by Russians. In the nineteenth century, isntitutionalism and nationalism of muridism action, which had been spread on Northern Caucasus and had acquired a social base, was in question. This nationalism process had occured via implementing a law system on Caucasus community primarily. The most indicative part of this nationalism was gazavat, which had been maintaining against Russians.
