Summary/Abstract: In my study I wish to prove that the truth of the picture does not stand in correlation with reality. Picture is not the representation of ordinary things, but the showing of things otherwise, in a truer way. This other kind of showing reveals only for the active, ’seeing view’. The sensual and intellectual side of picture is not only linked but it is organized through the inherent structure – in Gadamer`s sense. According to this the picture is nothing more than a sensory process and the sense embodied in it is sensory sense.
