PLEA FOR SOCIOLOGY OF RELIGION – CONVERSATION DRAFT

Summary/Abstract: The text is a preface to the book by Dragoljub B. Djordjevic, "Role Models and Buddies", published by "Cigoja Stampa" Belgrade. In addition to the critical analysis of the book by Djordjevic, the text also presents the circumstances of sociology of religion in central and eastern Europe after the collapse of the communist regimes, and, somewhat originally, points to open issues in and perspective of contemporary sociology of religion.
