Nonverbal aspects in Intercultural Communication

Summary/Abstract: We underline the differences between verbal and nonverbal communication, insisting on the importance of nonverbal aspects in various types of communication. We present the smile, the laughter, the gesture, the talk, the sound, the touch and the self-touch, as well as ambiguity and security in relation to communication. We give examples of these nonverbal aspects in different cultures of the world.
