Summary/Abstract: This article does not make the pretension to represent a new understanding of the late Nietzsches main ideas, but tries to give an overall view on them according to the corresponding research during the last decades. It is an essay to demonstrate the inner connection of his three main ideas of eternal recurrence, superman and will to power mainly according to Nietzsche’s publications from the “Fröhliche Wissenschaft” in 1882 to his posthumous “Antichrist”, written in November 1888, and to selected released fragments from the years 1880 to 1888. It tries the prove that the first idea, which Nietzsche explained as a scientific one by a feed back to the first electro-dynamic sentence gained its force by its mythical connotation. If it is permitted to speak of Nietzsches metaphysical system this conception is the necessary complement for the eternal presence as the spot of the realization of the will to power as the essence of the world as appearance, for that of the superman is the personification of the idea to the readiness of man to correspond to this process including his will to his own end. The impossibility to combine the inner agreement to the innocence of the eternal progress of coming to be and passing away with the ethical conception of compassion and the moralistic understanding of Christianity are the background of Nietzsches denial of them both. The author is hoping to follow this paper in a due distance by another comparing its results to Martin Heideggers interpretation in the horizon of his history of being (“Seinsgeschichte”) or fate of being (“Seinsgeschick”).
