Summary/Abstract: There never really was a Replika funeral. There was no event to symbolically mark the end of this period. I would have liked a Replika funeral, but it wasn’t realised. Several people said, well now, that really is a crying shame, something has to be done. And then I told them, okay, write something! Let’s have a public Replika funeral! Write about it, how well and good it was, and what a shame it is to see it go! If this is what you keep telling me! Or let’s organise something! But I won’t organise it; instead somebody from amongst you should take it upon himself or herself! In the end nobody took it upon himself or herself—in this sense this is an unburied corpse, which might still be brought back to life, because maybe it is, after all, only in suspended animation.
