Summary/Abstract: Another It-cleft "c’est… qu”: the Structure "et c’est pour ça que" and other examples. Our research suggests studying at the syntactic and semantic level the cleft constructions "c’est… qui/que," which present several operations for the same morphological structure. We shall show that next to one cleft prototypical (close focus) in simple contrast of the type: (1) a. c’est Pierre qui l’a dénoncé ce n’est pas Paul b. c’est Pierre (qui l’a dénoncé) one cleft said "in chain" coexists in the speech (open focus) where the main information is not introduced by "c’est," as in the case of the contrast, but remains contained in the part introduced by “que,” so the idea as the focus is on the extracted part disappears in the structure with chain: (2) ils vont y rentrer un mois et demi après c’est là qu’on commence à voir Information principale Our work based on an essentially empirical method will focus on real examples taken from oral corpuses. The results will show that these two types of cleft are equally frequent in spoken French and that they present completely different syntactic and semantic properties.
