PERSONIFICATION, THE GROTESQUE AND THE SYMBOL INN THE ALBANIAN TRADITION AND CONTEMPORANEITY

Summary/Abstract: In this material we treat the personification, grotesque and sy-mbol.At the very beginning we give the etymology of these stilistic figures and after that we have definitions of Albanian researchers toge-ther with illustrative examples.We have mentioned even the ideas of some foreign authors of theorical literature. We have often made com-ments on these definitions, and for each stilistic figure is given our definition. The chosen examples from a rich literar corpus made this material more attractive. This corpus includes popular creation, alba-nian literature and foreign literature. This article proves that the theo-retical treatment of these stylistic figures are widen continously.
