Summary/Abstract: Many of the Homilies of Saint Gregory Palamas cannot be precisely dated. Some were enunciated during the Liturgy, others at the vigil services, but the year of the utterance remains unknown for some of these speeches. This study proposes an analysis of the theological, historical and political context in which they were uttered, based on certain historical data provided either by the Homilies themselves or by the editors’ notes.
