Summary/Abstract: This article studies communication in the context of the mosaic variant of Patau syndrome. The analysis of two sample situations focuses on creating and understanding the concept of TIME. The article discusses the semiotic foundation of communication dimensions (Peirce 1931–1958) as well as its physical basis (Itkonen 2005). The approach is based on discourse analysis and considers semiotic categorization of signs.
