History Using

Summary/Abstract: History as a sense of the past will not be the starting point of this text, because it is almost innocent for the state Serbian society is in today, nationalistic, closed in the circle of self perception. Th ere will be word about the historians for they are the ones that make the images of the past, giving the material to the political elite in order to shape the public opinion as it pleases. Th e use of history by the politicians and their historians is no news. It has existed ever since the science was constituted as modern discipline. In other words some historians promptly made themselves available for justifying any political action in order to “unite the Serbs” as historical necessity and therefore fairness.
