Today's Politics, Show or Violence?

Summary/Abstract: Many sociological studies show that violence on TV brings violence in the real world. Worldwide there have been thousands of studies showing that the share of scenes of violence on TV is very high, from cartoons to political news. Although political violence is a problem of particular importance in our social life it is not analyzed and investigated enough in the professional literature. The present study develops some ideas and themes about the role and functions of the political power, displaying the types of political violence and their consequences for the management and functioning of society, which can be subject to wider debates and researchs.
