Ascension of Jesus Christ in the light in the Letter of St. Luke

Summary/Abstract: Ascension of Jesus Christ is one of the important and often overlooked issues almost completely. The NT exegesis and theology "sees “and more emphasis on the Resurrection and Pentecost. Ascension while it remains in the shadows, and researchers dedicated this subject is rare and relatively little attention. Meanwhile, it also event deserves attention in the theology of the NT. Some exegetes say even the “right ascension of Jesus Christ - theologically and empirically - is the heart of the NT”. This article discusses the in outline, the historical views on the mystery of the Assumption (I). Further, the testimony of Luke about this issue (II). After several characteristic motifs that, “he noted”, Luke in their information about Ascension (III).
