ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN RURAL TOURISM IN THE TERMS OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN VILLAGES

Summary/Abstract: Rural tourism is presenting a good basis for the development of entrepreneurial activity. The benefits from these activities are multiple and reflected trough a positive impact on rural households as well as on the observed rural area and development of rural tourism in general. Potentials for development of these activities certainly exist in the field of agriculture, also in non-agricultural and other service industries, which can be built and improved in the sphere of tourism. Entrepreneurial activities have to be strategically directed and planned, in accordance with basic principles of sustainable development of rural areas. Difficulties in the practice of entrepreneurship in the rural areas exist, and must be realistically viewed in order to be adequately overcome.
