Summary/Abstract: The core idea in the Theory of Constraints is that every system (also profit-making com-pany) must have at least one constraint. The constraint is a factor that limits the company’s developments and prevents the company from achieving the intended target. These constraints may be both of physical and non-physical nature. The Theory of Constraints consists of three parts. The third part of Goldratt's theory is called Thinking Process. The aim of this paper is to present the whole mechanism of Thinking Process. Thinking Process is a collection of logic-based tools that can help managers diagnose problems, find solutions and draw up successful implementation plans. The main purpose of the article is to show how to use TOC logic tools to solve various management problems. The Thinking Process is quite general and can be applied to many kinds of them. The tools of Thinking Process should support managers in effective management of business activity. To achieve this aim the managers should apply the roles of Thinking Process, which prescribes the use of logical trees.
