Summary/Abstract: The investigation examines the opportunities for making the use of franchising, as to the purposes of privatization, so for attraction the foreign capitals in the country. The analysis direct attention to the economic substance of the franchising, as a business concept which is used for a starting point of a new private business in West countries. It is a form of gradual privatization in the public activities, under which the state ownership is placed at disposal to the private business, under the definite condition, and a given time of period. It is well-grounded an idea for combinating the adventage of franchising, as a form of privatization with the business concept, and its clauses for buying the state ownership, as well as the necessity of special legislation which regulate the all attitudes connected which franchising contracts. There are pointed the conditions under which may be concluded the franchising contract. There are examined the problems of evaluation the enterprise in concluding the franchising contract, as well as buying it at final where the term of contract has expired. Some proposals for the evaluation of the economic and trade attractiveness are made, and it is characterized by the indication - goodwill of the enterprise. Finally, the fields of franchising application are pointed as a form of privatization in Bulgaria.
