Summary/Abstract: The paper presents unknown Bulgarian mythological character in the dialect of Kozichino village (former name Erkech). The character’s name is baba Virenka (Grand mother Virenka). She is related with thematic range birth in the spiritual culture of the Bulgarians. Baba Virenka is introduced according to linguistic material collected from the dialect of Kozichino village. This dialect keeps many archaically features.
