Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to provide taxonomy analysis of labour market in Polish regions in 2009 with symbolic approach. The paper discusses a way of phenomena structure representation with symbolic data application. Next the statistical methods are presented that can be used in cluster analysis procedure based on a symbolic data set. Pursuant to sug-gested procedure four clusters of voivodeships were separated and regional labour markets were investigated.
