Preventing Conflict of Interest

Summary/Abstract: The article is dealing with importance of conflict of interest’s prevention law within carrying out public functions. considering that, by its regulations for the first time, in Serbia, is regulated the issue of private and public interests conflict, on a unique and general way. The compromise between ruling coalition and opposition parliamentary parties, necessary for obtaining sufficient majority for adopting the law, exerted influence on deviation from primary aim – to efficiently prevent the occurrence of conflicts of private and public interests in public functions performing.
