A summary on the Problems and Perspectives of Political Minority presentation in Serbia

Summary/Abstract: Problem of parliamentary political representation of minorities after the October 5th 2000. is shown connected with the question of harmonization of law system as a whole. The author argues that comparative praxis within the realm of law provides several possibilities that could establish or improve possibility of political representation of minorities. Concerning the political representation within the National councils is necessary a) directly election of the members of National councils; b) to insure stabile income for the function of National councils; c) precisely definition of jurisdiction of National councils toward the state; d) delimitation of competences of National councils and their executive bodies; e) transparent function of minority institutions
