Summary/Abstract: The present issue of Culture and Values contains two groups of scholarly papers. The first one, bound by the leitmotif of Law-Culture-Values, constitutes the conceptual cornerstone of the periodical. The authors of the articles collected in the current volume shed different light on the topics in question, employing a number of theoretical and practical approaches. Readers will find succinct expository analysis of the above-mentioned key topics in the Introduction written by Monika Torczyńska, the issue’s editor-in-chief. The second group of texts is a collection of assorted academic papers by scholars specialising in philosophy, history of philosophy and religious studies. The forthcoming issue of “Culture and Values” will be dedicated to Russian philosophy and centred round the following topic: “Values, culture and history in Russian philosophy.” The issue will be published in October 2013.
