Summary/Abstract: The idea of sustainable agriculture is to harmonize the social, economic and ecological interest, which leads to the increased quality of life in e present, taking the responsibility for the future. The implementation of the idea can be achieved mainly through agricultural policy mechanisms. The aim of the paper is to assess the allocation of the Common Agricultural Policy funds for the development of patterns of sustainable and industrial agriculture in Poland. It was proved that the most of the European Union funds supported the industrial way of agricultural production. It has a reflection in process of agricultural farms concentration, and in a significant share of external production factors in big and very big farms.
