PROGNOSIS OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INDEX (HDI) OF SLOVAK REPUBLIC

Summary/Abstract: We have done a research of academic literature and internet resources of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and we have predicted the development of quality of life in years 2011 to 2016 by the means of human development index. We have decided to perform the prognosis with the help of mathematical-statistical method of time series (long-term, instantaneous, prime time series and time series of natural indicators; additive model of time series; linear and exponential type of trends).
