Summary/Abstract: The article is a review of the book by Włodzimierz Gogołek entitled ”Komunikacja sieciowa. Uwarunkowania kategorie i paradoksy” published in 2010 by ASPRA-JR Publishing House under the auspices of The Institute of Journalism of the University of Warsaw. In the first chapter the author presents the general image of network communication, directing the attention to one of its key features, namely, multichanneling. The second chapter is focused on basic conditions of network communication. The following, third chapter, after previous analysis of its social and economic conditions, looks closely at network communication's key categories. Finally, the fourth chapter presents the threats of the discussed phenomena and the last, fifth one analyses its paradoxes.
