Summary/Abstract: The so-called terrorist phenomenon marked the bloodiest anti-communist revolution in Eastern Europe, i.e. the Romanian Revolution. This study examines not only the nuances the phenomenon in question acquired during and especially after the events of December 1989, but also its manipulations at the hands of the various factions involved in the events of December 1989, pinpointing the implications and consequences of these manipulations.
