Summary/Abstract: The sudy presents the French travellers in Hungary in the interwar period. Hungary was a different country from France, in spite of this it was very interesting for them. The country was the ancient regime to Pierre Delattre. For the Jesuit Pierre Chaillet Hungary was the exemple of the resistance. Nicolas de Rochefort has found here his dream. Professor Sauvageot published a book (Découvert de la Hongrie) in 1937 presenting his impressions about the country.
