Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to determine the extent to which Polish enterprises are involved in the implementation of the CSR concept and the degree of students and graduates’ familiarity with the problem and their interest in it. The paper has been based on the Forum of Responsible Business reports concerning the application of the CSR concept by companies and disclosure of information about it in social reports and the results of surveys carried out among students and graduates, including the results of the author’s own research. The paper also attempts to demonstrate the role of business schools which educate future managers and accountants in promoting the awareness of the CSR concept. It has been indicated that the level of education in this respect is far from adequate while the students’ interest in the issue continues to grow.
