Social policy in enterprises and corporate social responsibility in the period of system transition in Poland

Summary/Abstract: Political and economic changes have been conducted the fastest and in the largest range during the transition process. Social policy has been gradually adapted to the needs stimulated by changes in the other two spheres. Among other things, privatization and reprivatization of productive assets have had influence on the significant reductions of household activity in enterprises. The article attempts to assess the companies activity in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility as a possible compensation of the former activities of social policy.
