Summary/Abstract: Throughout his life, Miloš Dvořák (1901–1971), the reviewer of catholic orientation, perceived and interpreted as the myth the publication and the personality of Otakar Březina and his follower, poet and priest Jakub Deml. M. Dvořák actively contributed to the journal Tvar (1927) and than with his studies Deformace kultu v díle Jiřího Wolkra (Akord 1936) on the offensive against „earthiness“ of the Wolker´s ballads and he thought his poetry unnatural. He also critised the book of poetry Nové mýty from Josef Kainar (after 1945) and he alerted to any other ideology, including the communist ideology.
