Municipality Guard in the System of Public Order Protection

Summary/Abstract: The protection of public order and public safety is one of many basic tasks of local self-government. Local governments have different means to achieve these tasks. The use of municipal guard, called into being by commune councils, warrants a good knowledge of the locality, the people and their needs and expectations, as well as situations that may endanger safety and public order in a gmina, leading towards improved standard of living of the local community.
