Summary/Abstract: At the beginning of the article I focus on the paradoxical situation that, on one hand, Popper’s philosophy is critically seen today as being an almost obsolescent philosophical position, while on the other hand, Popper’s continuing intellectual influence can be traced into different intellectual facets and directions. The paper offers succinct presentations and analyses of these facets and directions.
