Summary/Abstract: The Lisbon strategy offers free movement of products, ser-vices, personnel, etc. Harmonized European welding curriculum guidelines, some of them developed with the support of the LDV co-financed EUROWEL, are currently enforced in 29 European countries. From this year the implementation of this system will take place in Greece and Lithuania (project partner Kaunas technical college). In this article we want to present new interactive European welding personnel certification model. The implementation of it will enforce welding specialist to obtain competences and certificate recognized under EU standards.
