Summary/Abstract: Music in general, and religious music in particular is/is not a catalyst in improving the ethical concepts of a nation. Religious music, music for relaxation (ambiental, for meditation etc.) electronic or natural in comparison with secular genres, modifies the most/modifies the least the mental balance of an individual. In Christianity the religious music gives us a picture of the Kingdom of Heaventhrough the special emotional states that listeners reach while listening, superior due to each person's emotional climate. To those who reach such spiritual performances of perception modified states of consciousness are reserved, depending on the degree of cultivation and of their own virtues.
