Summary/Abstract: In the contemporary world, in the context of apparition and development of a real culture of knowledge, based on using the top technology in all material and spiritual levels of existence, the market demands higher qualifications, more complex intellectual abilities that mean more time for educating and forming persons. In this context the period of youth extends and becomes more important from the social reproduction point of view, young people becoming more aware of their importance in the society. The increasing occupational and professional mobility and the apparition of the new category of young people capable of adapting to the new economic realities is an important process that favors economic development. We can observe in our society the need of young people for economic emancipation, as a form of social emancipation.
