Summary/Abstract: The numerous amendments and supplements brought to Law no.8/1996 regarding the copyright and the connected rights determined us to undertake a theoretical and probably useful analysis for the practical activity of the offences set forth in heading III, chapter III of the law. The first part of our examination deals with the offences comprised in articles 1396-1399 insisting not only on the consecrated structure (specific judicial subject matter, concrete subject matter, subjects of the offence, constitutive content, forms, methods, sanctioning regime etc.) but also on explaining certain words or phrases existing in case of criminal charges. Certain opinions are described in relation to the criminal charges in this field, but we express certain personal considerations as well, when examining the judicial content of offences.
