Summary/Abstract: This work provides an edition of the original Latin text and Croatian translation of the most detailed description of the ruins of the medieval Benedictine abbey of Bijela (Bela) near Daruvar, which was prepared as an official report, dated in Pakrac on June 6, 1761, by two officers of the County of Požega, who personally visited and surveyed the ruins. Various details can be learned from the report about the remains of the monastic compound, which later, in the course of the 19th and 20th centuries, disappeared altogether. The text edition is preceded by an introduction on the local conditions of landownership and government which make up the historical context of the report, as well as on the people who are mentioned in it.
