Summary/Abstract: They are at least five reasons, for which we should modernize classical ontology, funded still on Aristotle’s ideas and on classic scientific theories. For first, our knowledge about world and the image of world changed considerably. A lot of new phenomena, processes, and objects were discovered, unknown earlier for people. Secondly, our world is filled already with artificial objects. Thirdly, we discovered objects very much quickly changing, of infinitely small dimensions and extents. Fourthly, the idea of the classic Laplace’s determinism collapsed. As a result of the development of civilization our life milieu became unsure, turbulent, chaotic, unpredictable and risky. Fifthly, we created virtual world built from the specific kind of beings. Therefore, we must modernize current ontology which is a theory of tangible, directly experienced, strongly determined, precisely located in the space and time, and sufficiently stable objects.
