Summary/Abstract: For the first time since inception in 1992, the Yearbook of Polish Foreign Policy was prepared this year without the participation of its scientific editor, Dr Barbara Wizimirska. The present edition of the Yearbook covers 2004, a year of Polish diplomacy’s undiminished vigorous activity in all major directions. To begin with, it was the year of Poland’s accession to the European Union.
